A Message to Other Health Care Providers
As a doctor of chiropractic, I understand my role in helping people improve their health and quality of life. The extent of my role can vary based on the patients' health goals. Whether they desire relief of symptoms, preventative maintenance, supportive care, improvement in their diet or fitness levels, or simply enhancing their athletic performance, we will honor their goals and deliver the highest quality care. Because of the time I give to my patients along with the services that I offer, I often think of myself as a mixture of several professions which includes personal training, massage therapy, orthopedics, neurology, nutritional counseling and of course, sports chiropractic. This does not mean that I don't refer my patients to any of these professions. In fact, when it is best for the patient, I frequently co-manage and or refer my patients to physical therapists, physiatrists, massage therapists, and MDs (primary care physicians, orthopedists, and neurologists). Obstetricians/Gynecologists routinely refer their pregnant patients for chiropractic treatment since this population cannot resort to most analgesic medications.I encourage all health care providers to contact me with any questions regarding our methods and protocols. Please feel free to call or just stop in to the office and see what sets us apart from others in our field.
