A Message to Other Health Care Providers
We are respected and trusted locally by medical professionals!!
As Certified Sports Chiropractos, WE EMBRACE A TEAM-CENTERED APPROACH TO PATIENT CARE. We seek to infuse our specialized knowledge of sports medicine into patient care as a component of an integrated healthcare team. As a group, sports chiropractors are adept at functioning within such a team to optimize rehabilitation trajectory, improve patient outcomes and prevent recurring injury.
We understand our role in helping people improve their health and quality of life. The extent of our role varies based on many factors, including the patients' health goals, as well as the severity of their condition (prognosis). Whether our patients desire relief of their symptoms, preventative maintenance, supportive care, improvement in their diet or fitness levels, or simply enhancing their athletic performance, we will honor their goals and deliver the highest quality care. As Certified Sports Chiropractors, we often view ourselves as a mixture of several professions which includes personal training, massage therapy, orthopedics, neurology, nutrition and of course, Chiropractic. This does not mean that we don't refer my patients to any of these professions. In fact, we routinely co-manage and or refer our patients to other specialties including Physical Therapists, Physiatrists, Licensed Massage Therapists, and Medical Doctors (primary care physicians, orthopedists, and neurologists, etc). Obstetricians/Gynecologists often refer their expecting moms for chiropractic treatment, as a safer and more effective option for treatment of back pain related to the stresses of pregnancy.
Functioning in conjuction with these other medical professionals, certified sports chiropractors like ourselves can interject our specialized knowledge to get the most out of treatment time and effort, and improve patient outcomes.
We encourage all health care providers to contact us with any questions regarding our methods and protocols. Please feel free to call or just stop in to the office and see what sets us apart from others in our field.
